Lucas Papaw Ointment

For a while now I’ve been using Retin A on my skin. It’s designed to prevent acne but the main ingredient, tretinoin, also helps to reduce wrinkles. That’s exactly why I use it and over the last 6 months have seen a vast improvement in my skin.

The only problem with Retin A is that it is extremely drying on the skin. It was terrible at first. My skin was red, flaky, and burnt when I put moisturiser or other creams on. Thankfully these side effects almost disappeared after a few weeks but my skin is still much dryer than it was before I started using the Retin A. Some days it’s not too bad but other days it’s a bit painful.

So I’ve been looking around for creams that can not only moisturise my skin but also reduce the stinging, burnt feeling I sometimes have. I tried a bunch of different creams including Bio Oil, which I really thought was going to work but didn’t, and Lucas Papaw Ointment.

Lucas Papaw Ointment really did the trick. It’s a natural product which I found to be really soothing and moisturising. I love it and now use it whenever I start to feel my skin getting dry. You can get it at Amazon and from some drug stores. I highly recommend this if you have dry skin.
