Eating Restaurant Thai Food

The other day, my husband decided to take me and our son out to eat at a local Thai food restaurant. We hadn’t gone out to eat Thai food in a long time and I was craving it. After spending time in Thailand, I got to where I really liked to eat many different types of Thai food. I had so much anticipation going out to eat Thai food here in the states.

When I ordered the Som Tum, I was very disappointed. It was made American style, not Thai style. It just wasn’t the som tum, it was many other dishes. It seemed to be like the recipes were changed to what they thought the American public wanted to eat and maybe they are right. Me, I like Thai food and I was disappointed.

Frugal Living Tips

I just realized that I have given tips for small businesses to open, but I haven’t given any specific frugal living tips. I decided to sit down and come up with 5 simple frugal living tips so that you can maybe save a little bit of money and be more financially secure.

1) Recycle everything. A good idea is to contact your recycling center and see what they are buying. Keep the list handy and don’t toss anything away that can be recycled for cash.

2) Buy in bulk during sales. Sometimes, a good deal comes along at the supermarket. It could be a great buy on canned food or staples. Make sure you pick up as much as you can of the stuff that you use on a regular basis.

3) Plan your trips carefully. When you get into your car, make sure that you are making the most efficient use of the gasoline as possible.

4) Don’t go out to eat. I know sometimes it is easy to buy food when you are out, but it’s better to eat before you leave or take some snacks with you. You’ll save a bundle.

5) Consider taking public transportation to work. It’s not fun to use public transportation for errands, but if you are going just to work, it can save you a lot of money, especially with the way gas is these days.
