I have recently found some great ways to earn money online. I am kind of amazed by the opportunities out there to earn decent money, if you just spend a little effort trying to earn money and don’t mind waiting for the rewards.
Here are some ideas that I have found out about:
1) Freelance writing. Many people are interested in having articles written for their websites and they are willing to pay you well.
2) Affiliate Marketing. If you have a blog, find some offers related to it and then make links. Mabe make a few posts about the offers as well.
3) Adsense Blogging. Write articles with the idea of monetizing it solely with adsense.

Well, it’s spring time and the spring cleaning is done. It’s amazing how much stuff we have acquired in just the last 6 months that we don’t use anymore. Usually I am inclined to have a spring yard sale when we have this much extra stuff, but our house is not the best place for a yard sale and we may not get enough traffic to make it worthwhile.
That’s why we are thinking about taking our stuff to a swap meet. It’s cheaper than taking out an ad in the newspaper and there is a lot of foot traffic there. That means we can make even more extra money. It looks like we will doing it as a family outing.

I talked a month or so about storing up food as a good hedge against food inflation. It still is. Food prices are up several percent over the last month and any investment in food storage would have fared better than just about any other investment, just think about it.
Now, is definitely the time to put even more money into your food budget in an effort to save money. Just make sure you buy the foods that you enjoy eating or that you eat on a regular basis. The more you buy, the less you will have to buy later when the cost is higher. You are really only limited by the size of your cupboards, as long as you buy wisely.

I am considering opening up a food review site. I don’t know if it is something that people are interested in so I am making this post right now to get some feedback on it. I have come across a plugin for wordpress that makes review sites even easier to implement.
My husband could do the programming and I could work on the design of it. I think the hard part would be getting the first reviews made on it, but after that it could be a snowball effect as more and more people use and vote on it.
What do you all think?

It was so sad to see Brooke White leave American Idol last week. It just wasn’t the same now that she is gone My kids just weren’t as interested in it as they were before. They even asked where Jolene was.
Last night’s American Idol was one of the most uninteresting idols I have seen in awhile. David Archuleta sang great as always and I think it might have been his best night ever. David Cook seemed to be imitating and not doing a very good job of it. Syesha Mercado seemed to decide to change from nice girl to Beyonce wannabe and I think her performances suffered. David Castro? What can I say. I think said it the best.

This weekend we will be preparing the house for summer. This will be our first summer in the house and while summer aren’t hot around here, it’s still a good idea to keep the house feeling as cool as possible. We are not interested in using air con so this weekend will focus on making the house better handle the warm weather of summer.
We will be putting a ceiling fan in every room this weekend. Ceiling fans are good for moving around the heat. I will also be buying some box fans that are easy to take from place to place should the need for spot cooling around. We will also being doing some repair work to the deck so that we can spend more time outside.
I am anxious for summer to come!

It’s been really nice having our own home now. It’s nice knowing that we will eventually own and that we are building equity right now. That means that we are making money off of our home payments. It’s almost like a savings plan.
A lot of people are interested in how we did and ask us often. First off, we got fixer upper. This meant that we could build sweat equity right from the get-go. Secondly, we shopped around for the best loan at the lowest rate possible so we could save on our payments. All in all, we’ve have a very positive home buying experience.

One of the things that I love so much about living so close to my husband’s family is the chances we get to to spend time with them. I love my inlaws so much and I am really a part of their family. I especially love spending time with my niece.
I just have two boys, but my husband and I really want to have a daughter. Until that happens, I get to spend my time with niece. She still isn’t quite a year old, but she is a blast to spend time with. She is so cute and also very intelligent.
I just hope we have a daughter like her.

It’s hard to get movies for families these days. I love having a nice movie during Family Home Evening for us and the kids, but it’s hard. Many movies are just not appropriate for kids these days. It seems like there is too much violence or just family unfriendly values.
Maybe that’s why I was so happy to get a telemarketing call from Feature Films for Families yesterday. I really like how they were able to tell me about some great movies for my family. I’ve seen a few of the movies from Feature Films for Families in the past and they are great for the kids.
I went ahead and ordered some new movies. I can’t wait to get them in the mail.

I can’t believe that it’s May already. That means that next month is Father’s Day. I have been really busy looking for a great gift for my husband on Father’s Day. I know he really deserves something nice for everything he has done for me and our sons this year. He’s not perfect, but he’s always doing his best for me and the kids.
I thought that getting something nice for his suit would be a nice idea and I was really excited to the find a nice looking tie tack. They are very nice and I think they would be the perfect accessory for his suit. I think they are something that he would really appreciate for Father’s Day.
