Garage Sales On The Weekend

Don’t you just love going to garage sales on the weekend? I just love it. It’s a chance to get some real treasures for cheap prices. So many people just want to toss out their old stuff. Well, it might be old to them, but it’s new to me and my family.

I especially love going out with my mother in law and and sister in law. They are real experts on garage sales and they can spot the duds and the good ones even before we get out of the car. It’s great learning from such garage sale experts.

    Hi! I found you while I was wandering through stumbleupon. You have a very nice site! These days, especially with the economic troubles we’re having in the U.S., frugal living is important. Actually … it might be the only way that many of us will make it through these hard times.

    I especially like your post on garage sales. Aren’t they wonderful? Not only can we pick up something cheap … we’re saving stuff from being tossed into landfills. So … garage sales, thrift stores and consignment shops are “green” as well as frugal. In fact, many frugal living practices are green as well.
