I have just realized that how many old websites I have out there on the net. I first making pages on Geocities and then added new pages at Tripod, Angelfire and other sites. I think at open time I had seven of these free sites up and running. It was an interesting time of the net, everyone wanted a simple page and there many tools to have one.
Unfortunately, as time went by, I forgot about them. Now I can hardly remember the sites and I am trying to find the old ones, maybe to resurrect them a bit or maybe just to relive some fond memories. I know I have pictures of old friends in them.

I have been watching Lost on and off since it first started back in 2004. For the first two seasons, I was very engrossed in the show and I watched every single episode they had. I am so anxious to see it that I made sure I would tivo it to watch it again.
Unfortunately, during the third season, my interest began to wane and I watched it less and less often. It was a pity that the show seemed to drag on and on. This season, season 4, it has been better. In fact, the season finale was awesome. In case you haven’t seen it yet, I won’t be talking about it except to say that you need to watch it. It really is great and it’s back up on par with Season 1.

It was so sad to see Brooke White leave American Idol last week. It just wasn’t the same now that she is gone My kids just weren’t as interested in it as they were before. They even asked where Jolene was.
Last night’s American Idol was one of the most uninteresting idols I have seen in awhile. David Archuleta sang great as always and I think it might have been his best night ever. David Cook seemed to be imitating and not doing a very good job of it. Syesha Mercado seemed to decide to change from nice girl to Beyonce wannabe and I think her performances suffered. David Castro? What can I say. I think said it the best.

It’s hard to get movies for families these days. I love having a nice movie during Family Home Evening for us and the kids, but it’s hard. Many movies are just not appropriate for kids these days. It seems like there is too much violence or just family unfriendly values.
Maybe that’s why I was so happy to get a telemarketing call from Feature Films for Families yesterday. I really like how they were able to tell me about some great movies for my family. I’ve seen a few of the movies from Feature Films for Families in the past and they are great for the kids.
I went ahead and ordered some new movies. I can’t wait to get them in the mail.

It looks like my kids favorite singer, Brooke”Jolene” White, will be on idol for another week. I thought for sure she would be eliminated and I was busy punching away the numbers on the phone and text messages.
I was sad to see Carly Smithson go. She was a good singer and she did a good job the other night on American Idol. I don’t she should have been the one to go, I was hoping Jason Castro left. I am getting tired of his singing and his mannerisms.
Brooke is genuine, she isn’t flashy and she sings her heart out. She is an inspiration to us. And for my sons, she is there Jolene….

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with health, food, business, or frugal living, but did anyone else see Mariah Carey on American Idol last night? I think that had to be the first time I ever heard her say anything. More often than not, I will see her smile or sign, but never speak. I think I know why.
I don’t know if it was the lights, the situation, or just an act, but after hearing her talk and not really respond to the questions by Ryan Seacrest, it sure seems like Mariah Carey should not speak in public. Frankly, she came across as either like someone on drugs or someone who seemed a bit crazy. I know that can’t be the case, but it really made me think if at any time I heard her say something coherent, but I can’t think of anything….

My sons just love watching American Idol every week. Back when American Idol had its Dolly Parton week, my boys just loved watching Brooke perform “Jolene.” For some reason they just love the song.
Now every time they watch American Idol they scream for Jolene. They’ll say Jolene every time they see Brooke. If she sings a different song, they will say, I want Jolene, Jolene! I am trying to figure out why they love it so much. I’ll bet you can’t guess who we are voting for in American Idol every week. Yep, I hope she takes it all.
